ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Ana Quintana. I am 23 years old with an Associate's and Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. When people hear the word 'fashion', they assume that I went just to design things for fashion, but I am the last person to go to school for fashion. I can tell you that FIDM was one of the hardest school experiences I have ever had the experience so far. This is not a school for the faint of heart. They push you to do your best, push you to the limit, and the grades you get, are from how much effort you put in your work. This school has taught me a lot of graphic design and helped me become a better designer.

From Jan 2018-2019, I was an intern at The Walt Disney Company working in Consumer Products on the Packaging and Branding team. I was able to participate in fun and exciting new projects, learn the business, and gain experience working with one of the biggest companies in the world. I met amazingly talented people, and all were willing to teach me. The skills i learned there will forever guide me in my future endeavors.

Personally, I am a fun, hardworking person who loves what they do. I love to create new things, and come up with new ideas. I wanted to become a graphic designer because I get the chance to draw, create new ideas, produce work that people will enjoy, and work with many different people. I realize that being a graphic designer is not for everyone. It is a job full of hard work, but the outcome and quality of the work is worth it. Some people say they hate deadlines because it stresses them out, but I live for deadlines. They set the date the job is due, and make me work faster. The shorter the deadline, the better. In the future, I hope to work for an amazing company full of talented people, and great creativity. Thank you for taking the time to know more about me.
